Hello everyone thanks for the overwhelming outpouring of support for the site. This past week my site has skyrocketed to over one hundred page views from distinct users! I never thought growing up even one hundred people would look at a website I made. With finals week just around the corner I will not have as much time to be making photos or being able to post as much. How ever the end of the semester will lead to the summer and having an almost unlimited amount of time to do not only customer shoots but some personal projects that have been long over due.
While many of my plans aren’t quite ready to be talked about here are some ideas I’ve had and some additions to the site as well as a few side projects. The most pressing issue currently is creating a portfolio page to feature some more of my past works as well as a taste of some of the services I can offer. This is planned to come late May early June thanks to the curation of the photos. The next feature I would like to add is a video for the front page ether showing off a slide show of three of for photos or maybe a panning video of a landscape, let me know below in the comments which you would rather see. Lastly I would Like to start adding galleries to my blogs and have more relevant content to the site here. This is all a part of the inside of the side now lets talk about some side projects.
The first of the side projects I’m planning is a Snapchat page to allow for some behind the scenes look at some of the crazy antics I get up to on some of my photo shoots as well as having a more direct presence with the viewers. Would say to expect this feature middle of May after the semester ends. The second and more crazy of the projects I am currently working on is a video blogging channel on youtube so these blogs will be a little more entertaining than just reading text on a screen. This I would like to see in July early august at the latest all depending on how quickly I can get a hold of gear and learn the system. Along with blogs about the site and photographyI would like like to talk about my life as a college student and the more untraditional experience I’ve had in learning Art. As branch out maybe into video projects I’ve worked on in the past. Let me know any suggestions or comments below.
